Bengaluru-based Gympik Health Solutions Pvt. Ltd. was founded in December 2012 by Amaresh Ojha and Karan Malik, later being acquired by RoundGlass in June 2021. The venture originated from Ojha's personal experience with the difficulty of finding qualified personal trainers and suitable fitness centers. An alumnus of IIM Bangalore, Ojha leveraged his extensive background in technology from roles at Sun Microsystems, Cisco, and Intuit to address this market gap. Co-founder Karan Malik, an alumnus of Symbiosis Centre for Management (SCMHRD), brought operational and strategic expertise from his prior experience at Firstsource Solutions.

Gympik operates as a comprehensive fitness discovery platform, functioning as an online marketplace that connects users with a wide array of fitness and wellness options. The platform aggregates gyms, yoga studios, Zumba and dance classes, and personal trainers, allowing consumers to find, compare, and purchase memberships and training packages. Its business model generates revenue through multiple streams, including lead generation for its partner fitness centers and trainers, and subscription fees for its proprietary software. The company also serves a corporate clientele, offering wellness programs to companies such as JLL, Tech Mahindra, and Hitachi to promote a healthier workforce.

A key component of Gympik's offering is Traqade, an all-in-one club management software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. This B2B product provides fitness centers with tools for member management, integrated payment processing, workout tracking, automated marketing, and advanced business analytics. For individual consumers, Gympik provides an app-based platform to search for and book fitness professionals and custom training packages, available on both iOS and Android devices. Since its inception, Gympik has raised approximately $3.09 million over several funding rounds, with RoundGlass Partners being a significant investor before the eventual acquisition.
