A significant portion of its team, approximately 75%, is dedicated to research and development, including numerous professionals with doctoral and master's degrees. This R&D focus is strengthened by joint research initiatives with prominent academic institutions such as the University of Science and Technology of China, Anhui University, and Hefei University of Technology.

Guochuangneng's product portfolio includes solutions for vehicle electronics, powertrains, energy storage systems, and intelligent manufacturing. A key milestone was the development of its new energy vehicle BMS in 2015, which was subsequently applied in Chery EQ electric vehicles by 2016. By 2020, the company had cumulatively installed 100,000 sets of its BMS in passenger vehicles. In 2019, it achieved mass production of the industry's first integrated BMS & BDU (Battery Disconnect Unit) all-in-one machine. The company was successfully reorganized and listed with Keda Guochuang in 2021.
