GiftedMom is a social enterprise that provides digital health services to pregnant women and mothers in Africa to reduce maternal and infant mortality. The company was co-founded in 2013 by computer science engineer Alain Nteff and Dr. Conrad Tankou. The idea originated when Nteff visited a rural hospital and witnessed the preventable deaths of mothers and newborns due to a lack of basic health information.

The platform delivers customized, stage-based health information and reminders for antenatal care appointments and baby vaccinations. These services are accessible through multiple low-cost channels, including an Android app, SMS, USSD, and voice messages, making them available to women in remote areas with limited internet access. Users can subscribe for a small fee and also access an "Ask A Doctor" service to communicate directly with health professionals. The platform supports multiple languages to cater to diverse communities.

GiftedMom operates on a freemium model, offering basic health information for free with paid add-on services. Revenue is also generated through advertising from companies providing maternal and infant products and partnerships with organizations like NGOs and government bodies. The company collaborates with hospitals, mobile network operators like Orange, and international organizations to expand its reach. By 2018, the service had reached over 170,000 users in Cameroon and had expanded its operations to Nigeria with plans for further expansion in Africa.
