Genesis Computing, established in April 2024, is a software company focused on deploying autonomous AI agents to automate and enhance enterprise data workflows. The firm was founded by Matt Glickman and Justin Langseth, two data-industry veterans and early executives at Snowflake. Their shared experience, which began in 2018 while building the Snowflake Data Marketplace, inspired them to address the complexities enterprises face in moving AI from demonstrations to production-ready solutions. Glickman, now CEO, previously spent over 20 years at Goldman Sachs before leading Product Management at Snowflake. Langseth, the CTO, co-founded several companies, including Zoomdata and Clarabridge, and holds 51 patents related to data technology.

The company's core offering is an agentic AI data platform that deploys purpose-built AI agents, called "Genbots," designed to operate natively within a client's existing technology stack, particularly the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. These agents are pre-trained to handle critical data management tasks such as data engineering, data operations, and business analytics, eliminating the need for custom coding by the client. The Genbots are designed to learn on the job, continuously improving their performance by understanding an organization's specific data context and business logic. Initial Genbots include roles like a data analyst, a data steward, and a tool for creating other bots. The platform is model-agnostic, capable of functioning with other cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services' RedShift and Google's BigQuery.

Genesis Computing targets enterprises across various industries, including financial services, that are struggling to manage massive data volumes and implement production-grade AI. Its business model is consumption-based, and it is available on the Snowflake Marketplace, allowing Snowflake customers to utilize existing credits for easier adoption. In February 2025, the company announced it had secured $5 million in seed funding. The round was led by Kearny Jackson and included participation from Snowflake Ventures and several other venture firms and angel investors.
