A significant milestone in the company's history was a seven-figure seed funding round from venture capital fund Vereeni Investments in September 2019. In March 2022, Gambit Sports was acquired by Glance, a Singapore-based consumer internet company. The acquisition was a strategic move for Glance to integrate Gambit's gaming technology and expertise to build out NFT-based live gaming experiences and expand its offerings, which include e-sports streaming and multi-player tournaments on its lock screen platform.
