Fyne Audio, established in 2017, is a Scottish manufacturer of loudspeaker systems serving a global client base of audiophiles and home cinema enthusiasts. The company was founded by a team of experienced audio industry professionals, many of whom previously held senior positions at Tannoy, including Managing Director Anji Sosna and Technical Director Dr. Paul Mills. This collective expertise, totaling over 200 years, was pooled after Tannoy's acquisition by Music Tribe, with the aim of creating a new loudspeaker brand in Scotland focused on high-performance audio. A core feature is the IsoFlare™ driver, a point-source system where the high-frequency unit is placed at the center of the bass/midrange driver. This design ensures sound radiates from a single point, providing consistent stereo imaging even when listening off-axis. Another key technology is the BassTrax™ Tractrix diffuser system, a downward-firing port that disperses low-frequency energy in a 360-degree wavefront. This approach makes the loudspeakers less sensitive to room positioning and helps to create an even bass response without the boominess often caused by conventional ports. Additionally, the company utilizes FyneFlute™ surround technology, which uses a variable geometry roll surround on the driver to terminate cone energy more effectively and reduce coloration. The product lineup includes multiple series such as the F300, F500, F700, and the high-end Vintage and F1 ranges, catering to various price points and applications, including stereo Hi-Fi, home theatre, and custom installation.
