The company's journey began with an MVP launch in April 2023, followed by securing startup funding from Crypto.com's Accelerator in May. A TestFlight beta app was released, attracting over 40,000 waitlist sign-ups, with 10,000 in the first 48 hours. Furrend has also engaged in charitable initiatives, such as the "Paws for Furrends" event, which supported animal NGOs by allowing users to collect video NFTs.
