Frontier Waste is a fully licensed, non-hazardous solid waste and recycling collection service company dedicated to providing the highest quality services in the most environmentally responsible manner.

Frontier was founded in February 2017 by John Gustafson with the acquisition of several companies including operations in Corpus Christi, Greater Houston, and Hillsboro, Texas. Mr. Gustafson is a highly respected executive in the waste management industry with more than 25 years of experience servicing communities in Texas, most recently at Progressive Waste Solutions, where he was the Regional Vice President for the Southwestern Region of United States. In forming Frontier, Gustafson partnered with Mr. Bill Killian and Mr. Tim Henderson, who serve as Vice Presidents for Frontier in South and North Texas, respectively. In May of this year, Jake Friemel joined Frontier as the company’s CFO. Further, Gustafson partnered with Peter Huff and Blue Sage Capital – a leading Texas based private equity firm with significant, successful experience in the environmental services space. Collectively, Mr. Gustafson, Henderson, Killian, and Friemel have more than 100 years of combined operating experience in the waste and recycling industry servicing cities throughout the State of Texas.
