Freestyle Snacks is a consumer packaged goods company offering premium marinated olives in convenient, liquid-free, resealable pouches. The company was founded in Atlanta, Georgia, by Nikki Seaman, a University of Pennsylvania graduate with a background in management consulting at Bain & Company and experience at CPG companies PepsiCo and Whisps. The idea for Freestyle Snacks originated during the pandemic when the closure of grocery store olive bars highlighted the inconvenience of traditional jar and can packaging. Seaman, an avid olive lover, sought to create a mess-free, portable, and high-quality olive snack.

Launched in January 2022, the company initially sold its products directly to consumers through its website, reportedly selling over $10,000 worth of products on its first day. Freestyle Snacks sources its olives directly from Greece after testing over 50 varieties from six countries. The product line, which is non-GMO, keto-friendly, vegan, and gluten-free, launched with three flavors: Kalamata with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Green Olives Lemon Garlic, and Green Olives Hot & Spicy. It has since expanded to include a Mediterranean Herb Olive Medley. The business model encompasses direct-to-consumer sales via its website and Amazon, as well as retail distribution. The brand has expanded its footprint to approximately 5,000 retail locations, including major chains like Whole Foods, and is also available in travel and hospitality channels such as Delta Air Lines snack boxes and OTG airport stores.
