FinDynamic, a fintech company established in Milan, Italy, originated in 2016 from a study at Politecnico di Milano. It was founded by Enrico Viganò, who serves as the CEO, and Ervis Jace, the CTO. Viganò's background as a former Bain consultant and Viganò's as a software developer have informed the company's direction.
The firm operates in the Supply Chain Finance market, providing a technology platform designed to optimize working capital for large corporate clients and their suppliers. Its business model centers on offering software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions that facilitate early payment of invoices. The company's core services are Dynamic Discounting and Confirming (a form of reverse factoring). With Dynamic Discounting, a buyer can offer its suppliers early payment on approved invoices in exchange for a discount. The discount amount varies dynamically based on how many days early the payment is made. Confirming involves a buyer outsourcing the management of its accounts payable to a partner bank, which then offers early payment to suppliers.
FinDynamic's proprietary platform is its main product. It integrates with the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Treasury Management Systems (TMS) of its corporate clients, as well as with the systems of financial institutions. This allows both buyers and suppliers to view and manage invoices through a single web-based or mobile interface, automating the early payment process. The platform is offered as a white-label solution, which can be customized with the client's branding. For suppliers, the platform provides a means to receive advance payment on their commercial receivables. To date, the platform supports over 100 corporate buyers and more than 15,000 of their suppliers. The company has formed strategic partnerships with financial institutions like UniCredit, Fabrick, and Diners Club Italia to expand its offerings.
