FieldProxy, founded in 2020 by Swaroop Vijayakumar and Balakrishna Balasubramanian, is a no-code, AI-powered platform designed to automate and streamline the operations of businesses with mobile field teams. The founders, a graduate of IIM-Kozhikode and a BITS-Pilani graduate respectively, identified the market need after their first venture, a video news app, was discontinued. They initially started a tech product company, Codemycompany, where they built numerous internal apps for companies in traditional industries, revealing the widespread challenge of managing on-ground teams with rigid, outdated ERP systems. This experience led them to officially launch FieldProxy, with a vision to become the go-to operating system for field teams.

The company operates on a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, generating revenue through monthly subscriptions. Pricing plans are tiered, with a starter option and enterprise solutions that offer custom pricing for tailored integrations and dedicated support. FieldProxy serves a diverse range of field-first industries, including FMCG, pharmaceuticals, construction, logistics, financial services, and home services. The platform empowers managers to create custom workflows and build internal mobile applications without any coding knowledge, often in less than two minutes.

The core of FieldProxy's offering is a web-based, no-code builder that allows business teams to create custom templates and a corresponding mobile app for their field personnel. This system facilitates a variety of functions such as task scheduling, dispatch management, work order management, and real-time location tracking via GPS for enhanced route optimization and accountability.
