Fiduceo was a French financial technology company founded in 2011 by David Godat, Pierre Villeroy de Galhau, and Jérémy Girard. The firm specialized in developing innovative solutions for personal finance management (PFM) on web and mobile platforms. Its core services included the aggregation of bank accounts from over 170 institutions, bill consolidation from more than 700 service providers, automatic expense categorization, and a digital safe for documents.
The company's technology featured a powerful expense categorization engine capable of processing over a billion banking operations by 2014. This technology was designed to provide users with a comprehensive and personalized digital banking experience, offering features like enhanced alerts and tools for anticipating future expenses. Fiduceo operated as a business-to-business provider, with clients such as Boursorama, which utilized its account aggregation and expense categorization systems.
In March 2015, Boursorama, the online banking subsidiary of Société Générale, announced its acquisition of 100% of Fiduceo's capital. The acquisition was a strategic move for Boursorama to internalize Fiduceo's technological expertise, accelerate its own development, and enhance its competitive edge by offering more advanced, integrated services to its clients. Following the acquisition, the Fiduceo team of approximately fifteen employees was integrated into Boursorama to continue developing the platform for Boursorama's exclusive benefit.
