Ferroli

In 1955, in San Bonifacio, near Verona, Italy, Dante Ferroli founded a small company that would grow into a global name in heating and climate control. The business began by converting wood-fired boilers to gas, a key innovation as natural gas became more available in Italy. This initial success set the stage for expansion, and by 1965, Ferroli established a presence in Spain. One of the company's strengths has been its focus on producing its components in-house, allowing for greater control over quality and innovation. A significant period of change began in late 2015 when the Ferroli Group was acquired by Oxy Capital Italia and Attestor Capital. This marked a new era for the company, which had faced a period of economic difficulty. The acquisition led to a business restructuring aimed at modernizing operations and focusing on high-quality, energy-efficient products. Following the initial investment, Attestor Capital increased its stake in 2022, acquiring a further 36% of the company from the Ferroli family and bringing its total ownership to 96%. Today, the Ferroli Group operates globally with factories in Europe and Asia, continuing to build on the foundation Dante Ferroli laid over 65 years ago.
