FarmGuide's business model focused on integrating various stakeholders in the agricultural ecosystem—including government bodies, input suppliers, financial institutions, and farmers—onto a single digital platform. This created real-time information flow and transparency. The company generated revenue through dashboard subscriptions sold to agricultural input companies, insurers, and banks for real-time farm health monitoring. Additionally, it developed products for e-governance, supply chain management, and a market research platform. One of its notable services was the development of a farmer credit score and a digital infrastructure to support government interest subvention schemes for farm loans. In February 2021, FarmGuide was acquired by DeHaat, a full-stack agritech platform. As part of the acquisition, FarmGuide's founding team and its technology were integrated into DeHaat to enhance its service offerings, aiming to provide more precise, customized advisory services to farmers.
