Farm For Good originated from the action-research of its founder, Clotilde, who transitioned her own farm to organic and conservation agriculture. Realizing the value of collaboration, the non-profit association was officially established in 2020 with four founding farms. The organization's core mission is to support farmers in their transition to organic-certified regenerative agriculture.
To facilitate this transition, Farm For Good provides a multi-faceted support system for its members. This includes daily agronomic monitoring and technical support from a team of expert agronomists who help farmers navigate the challenges and improvements needed on their land. The association fosters a network built on sharing practices, successes, and failures, creating a community of pioneers. As of early 2024, this community has grown to include over 100 farms, collectively managing 8,500 hectares in transition.
In 2023, the organization established a cooperative to create a solid commercial framework for its members' produce. This business arm of Farm For Good collects the raw materials from the network of farms and establishes connections with agrifood processors. The cooperative's primary objective is to guarantee local, sustainable, and high-quality produce for buyers while ensuring a fair price for the farmers. This model directly addresses the challenge many farmers face in securing equitable prices for their goods.
