EvolveHer
Community and events advancing women professionally and personally.
EvolveHer began as a creative co-working space and community hub in Chicago designed to foster collaboration and growth for women. Founded in 2017 by Alicia Driskill, it aimed to bridge the gap between corporate and entrepreneurial women by providing a physical space for work, learning, and connection. The company hosted over 750 events and workshops, featuring prominent female leaders and partnering with major brands like Nike, Forbes, and Pinterest.
Alicia Driskill established EvolveHer after a 17-year career in media and entertainment, holding executive positions at companies like WME | IMG, Live Nation, and People.com. Her passion for advocating for the advancement of women, combined with her experience in business development and event production, led her to create a dedicated space for women to thrive. In March 2021, the EvolveHer Community was acquired by AllBright, a global career network for women, marking a significant milestone. Following the acquisition, Driskill launched EvolveHer Media, a venture that advises thought leaders and businesses on brand development, talent management, and growth strategy.
The original business model included memberships for the co-working space and fees for event hosting and production. Over time, the platform expanded its digital presence, evolving into a marketplace and hub that aggregates resources, tools, and connections for women's personal and professional advancement. The company also launched a podcast, "EvolveHer Unpacked," where the leadership team interviewed female entrepreneurs and executives.
