Epuramat S.A. is a Luxembourg-based clean technology company established in 2005 by Achim Kopmeier and David Din within the Technoport business incubator. The core of Epuramat's offering is its internationally patented "ExSep" (Extreme-Separator) technology. This system is a solid/liquid separator that functions based on the hydro-cyclone principle, where a vortex is created to separate components from wastewater. This pre-treatment process replaces conventional grit chambers and primary sedimentation basins, significantly simplifying the overall treatment procedure. The technology is designed to be largely chemical-free and energy-efficient. For industrial applications, the system can handle up to 600 cubic meters of wastewater per hour, enabling water to be recycled back into industrial processes, thereby reducing freshwater consumption and wastewater fees. For municipalities, Epuramat offers plants suitable for populations ranging from 1,000 to 50,000 people.

Epuramat's product line includes the "Box4Water," a complete, mobile wastewater treatment plant housed within a standard shipping container. This plug-and-play system requires no biological run-in period and can be operational immediately after connection to a power supply. It is designed for diverse applications, including remote communities, construction sites, offshore rigs, and disaster relief operations for producing drinking water from surface water. The company has received numerous accolades for its technology, including being named one of the top 50 water companies by The Artemis Project and receiving the Frost & Sullivan New Product Innovation Award for the Box4Water.
