EPropertyTrack, established in 2012 by founder Kunal Bagga, operates as a business-to-business software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform tailored for the real estate sector. Headquartered in Singapore, the company was created to address the need for real-time sales tracking for new property launches via mobile devices. Kunal Bagga's background in computer science, including a Master's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and experience at Motorola's R&D department, informed his vision of using technology to streamline complex processes. Prior to EPropertyTrack, he founded AuraTech, a provider of CRM systems, further solidifying his expertise in enterprise software solutions.
The company's core business revolves around providing a comprehensive suite of tools that covers the entire project marketing cycle for new property developments. Its clients are primarily real estate developers, marketing agencies, and property agents. The platform facilitates the flow of information between these parties, enhancing operational efficiency. For developers and agencies, the service streamlines sales and marketing by enabling real-time management of project reservations, client registration, and inventory. Agents utilize the platform as a multimedia interactive sales tool, accessible on desktops and mobile devices, to showcase properties with virtual tours, photos, and videos, and to book units directly with developers.
In July 2015, EPropertyTrack was acquired by PropertyGuru Group, a major online property portal in Asia, for an undisclosed amount. This acquisition was a strategic move for PropertyGuru to expand its service portfolio into high-value project marketing. Following the acquisition, EPropertyTrack's teams in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur were integrated into PropertyGuru's offices, and the platform was later rebranded as FastKey. The acquisition allowed EPropertyTrack to leverage PropertyGuru's market reach to expand into Malaysia in 2014 and later into other Southeast Asian markets like Thailand and Indonesia. At the time of the acquisition, the platform was being used to market over 500 new project launches and was utilized by more than 22,000 agents, covering over 90% of active new projects in Singapore.
