Eluna

Eluna is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children, teens, and families affected by grief or addiction. Founded in 2000 by former Major League Baseball pitcher Jamie Moyer and child advocate Karen Phelps Moyer, the organization was originally named The Moyer Foundation. Its mission is to ensure no child has to grieve alone and to help break the cycle of addiction.

Eluna operates several key programs, all offered at no cost to the families. Camp Erin is the largest national network of free bereavement camps for youth. Camp Mariposa is an addiction prevention and mentoring program for children impacted by a family member's substance use disorder. The Eluna Resource Center provides a comprehensive online library of articles, videos, activities, and personalized support, connecting families with resources tailored to their specific needs.

The organization functions as a national network with partners across the United States and Canada. It also advocates for improved standards of care in childhood bereavement and addiction prevention. In 2020, Eluna expanded its services by incorporating Team Jesse, a program that provides resources to military families experiencing grief or addiction.
