Elevaate, founded in 2014 by Simon Harrow, developed a SaaS platform designed to enhance the performance of digital commerce for retailers by optimizing trade spend and supplier collaboration. The company's primary offering was a 'Trade Less, Sell More' solution that enabled retailers' trading and marketing teams to create, manage, and merchandise high-performance digital campaigns in real-time. This was aimed at improving product discovery and conversion rates on e-commerce sites.
The platform functioned as a digital equivalent of in-store merchandising, allowing suppliers to bid for premium digital shelf space on a retailer's website, thus creating a new, high-margin revenue stream for the retailer. The founder, Simon Harrow, brought his experience from previous roles, including CEO at Contentment and various positions at WPP, to establish and lead Elevaate.
