The story of MARCH is one of consolidation and strategic evolution. It began not as a single entity, but as a collection of specialized engineering firms. In May 2018, the Edwin James Group was formed, beginning a journey of acquiring specialist companies to build a comprehensive engineering service provider. Over the years, it brought roughly ten firms, including Parker Technical Services, Musk Process Services, and Peak Technology Solutions, under one umbrella. The pivotal moment came in September 2024, when the Edwin James Group announced a major rebranding, unifying its diverse collection of companies under a single name: MARCH. This wasn't just a name change; it was a strategic move to simplify its market presence and present a unified front. Led by CEO Christopher Kehoe, the company aimed to better harness the combined expertise of its acquired parts, making it easier to offer clients total engineering solutions. This rebranding was fueled by a clear strategy to become a leader in critical engineering services for industries like food and beverage, nuclear, and defense. The move also positioned MARCH for further growth, both organically and through future acquisitions, supported by investment from Aliter Capital. By uniting a wealth of specialized knowledge, the company formerly known as Edwin James Group stepped forward as MARCH, a single, powerful force in the UK's engineering landscape.
