EduAce Services
Educations services company located in north-central india.
Founded in 2012 by Gaurava Yadav and Kalpana Singh, EduAce Services is a knowledge services company operating in the Indian ed-tech sector. The firm was established to provide students, particularly in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, with accessible platforms for knowledge enhancement and skill development, an opportunity founder Gaurava Yadav felt was missing in smaller towns. Yadav's professional journey includes experience as a communication manager, which led him to create a technology quiz for executives, laying the groundwork for EduAce's quizzing-based learning model.
EduAce's core business revolves around a 'Quizzing' format designed to make learning general knowledge and life skills enjoyable for school students. The company's flagship intellectual property is the 'School Quiz League (SQL) – Pratibha Ki Khoj', a state-centric quiz program that has grown into a significant national-level competition. This IP serves as a primary revenue driver through associated workshops and mentoring programs like the GK and Quizzing Aptitude Test (G-QAT). The G-QAT is an assessment and module-based offering for students from Class VI to XII. The company's operations have expanded to include intellectual properties such as a network for principals and a marketplace for schools. EduAce targets schools and students across various tiers in India, aiming to integrate general knowledge into the mainstream curriculum.
In a significant milestone, EduAce Services secured $1 million in seed funding from mobile internet company MoMagic Technologies in May 2016. This capital was earmarked for developing more learning programs and expanding the company's operational footprint across India. At the time of funding, the company had a presence in three states, covering approximately 2,500 schools, with plans to expand to over 7,000 schools across 15 states. The company has demonstrated adaptability, for instance by introducing an online 'Family Quiz Show' during the COVID-19 pandemic to continue engagement.
