A key feature is its integration with third-party services like Google Drive, Dropbox, and Microsoft Office 365, allowing users to consolidate their educational materials in one place. Edoome’s business model starts by building local communities of teachers to gather feedback for feature improvement, turning users into brand advocates. The next step involves approaching schools with a significant existing user base to offer an institutional version of the platform. This strategy is similar to a freemium model, where individual teachers can sign up for free, with revenue generated from selling premium, school-wide services with more advanced features.

A significant milestone for Edoome was a 2015 agreement with the Chilean Ministry of Education to implement the platform across all public schools in Chile. This deal provided access to over 200,000 teachers and 3 million students. In addition to its success in Chile, the company has experienced growth in Mexico, Spain, the US, Ecuador, and Colombia. The company has received seed funding, including $60,000 from Fundación Chile in December 2012, $100,000 from Imagine K12 in September 2013, and $50,000 from Magma Partners in July 2014.
