E-ComeTrue Inc. was a Japanese information technology firm headquartered in Sapporo, Japan, that specialized in solutions for the restaurant industry. The company was established on May 23, 2000, by Masami Ueda. Before founding the company, Ueda worked as a reporter for the economic magazine "Zaikai Sapporo." During his time as a journalist, he initiated an inter-industry networking group named 'Kamiyukai' to connect local venture capitalists with established economic leaders, successfully aiding several companies in their journey to an initial public offering. This experience inspired him to create a company that would leverage IT to support service-based businesses, particularly those in the restaurant sector, as they expanded nationwide.
The company's core offering was "Win-Board," a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) cloud-based system designed to streamline daily financial management for restaurants. This product served as a restaurant technology tool aimed at improving the efficiency of daily sales and expense tracking.
As of the fiscal year ending in December 2023, the company reported revenues of 210 million yen, though it also recorded an operating loss of 41 million yen and a net loss of 268 million yen. The company had 21 employees at that time. In a significant corporate restructuring in February 2024, E-ComeTrue transferred its main SaaS operations, including the "Win-Board" and "resudaku" systems, to a newly formed entity, E-Cloud Service Co., Ltd. Subsequently, the shares of E-Cloud Service were transferred to fonfun Corporation in August 2024, and the entity was fully absorbed by fonfun in September 2024. E-ComeTrue.inc initiated bankruptcy proceedings, which commenced on March 7, 2025.
