Droga5 is an advertising agency that provides a range of services including brand strategy, communications planning, integrated campaigns, and content development. The agency operates in the advertising and marketing industry, serving a diverse client base that includes major brands such as Amazon, The New York Times, Prudential, and Hennessy. Its business model is centered on creating culturally relevant and impactful work that drives business growth for its clients. Revenue is generated by providing these creative and strategic services. The firm's service offerings are extensive, covering strategy, design, marketing, and implementation. This includes growth and data strategy, experience design and brand identity, campaign development, and content production.

The company was founded in New York City in 2006 by David Droga. The name "Droga5" originated from the laundry tag his mother used to sew into his clothes to differentiate them from his siblings', as he was the fifth of six children. After gaining early success, the agency received a significant minority investment from William Morris Endeavor in 2013. A major milestone in the company's history was its acquisition by Accenture in 2019, becoming a key part of Accenture Interactive (now Accenture Song). Following the acquisition, David Droga remained as creative chairman of Droga5 and was later appointed CEO of Accenture Song.

David Droga, an Australian native, began his career in advertising after attending the Australian Writers and Art Directors School. Before founding his own agency, he held prominent creative leadership roles at several globally recognized agencies. His journey included being a partner and Executive Creative Director at OMON Sydney, Executive Creative Director at Saatchi & Saatchi in both Singapore and London, and the first-ever Worldwide Chief Creative Officer for the Publicis Network. Droga's extensive experience and frustration with working for other companies fueled his ambition to launch an agency with a distinct creative culture. The agency is known for producing boundary-pushing campaigns, such as the "Still Free" video for Marc Ecko, "The Great Schlep" for the Jewish Council for Education and Research, and the "Dundee" campaign for Tourism Australia.
