In April 2024, DOS Labs announced a significant milestone, having secured $2.45 million in a seed funding round. The round was led by venture capital firms including Kangaroo Capital, AZA Ventures, Brainbox, GD10 Ventures, and Avalon Wealth Club. This capital is allocated to the continued development and launch of MetaDOS, which already has an alpha version available on Steam and is planned for a wider release across PC, mobile, and consoles.
