DONTE GROUP is a Spanish oral healthcare group that operates a network of dental clinics across four distinct brands: Vitaldent, Smysecret, Moonz, and MAEX. The company was officially launched in 2022, consolidating a multi-brand strategy that began with the founding of Vitaldent in 1990. The group's business model is centered on providing accessible and specialized dental services to a broad patient base, which has grown to over 9 million individuals. The services range from comprehensive and general dentistry at Vitaldent, to invisible orthodontics at Smysecret, pediatric dentistry and family orthodontics at Moonz, and advanced, high-innovation treatments at MAEX.

Key milestones include the creation of Moonz in 2011, Smysecret in 2018, and MAEX in 2022. The current structure was largely shaped under the ownership of private equity firm Advent International, which became the majority shareholder in 2019 and oversaw the transition from a single-brand business to a diversified group. This period included the acquisition of Smysecret by Vitaldent in 2021 and the official launch of the DONTE GROUP umbrella brand in 2022. The transformation has been led by CEO Javier Martín Ocaña, who previously headed Vitaldent. In July 2025, it was announced that Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board (OTPP) agreed to acquire 100% of DONTE GROUP from Advent International in a deal valuing the company at approximately €1 billion, with the transaction expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025.

DONTE GROUP operates on a large scale, with over 426 clinics and a team of more than 5,000 professionals, including over 2,200 collaborating dentists across Spain. Revenue is generated directly from the wide range of dental treatments and services provided to patients through its clinic network. The acquisition by OTPP, which has a C$6 billion global healthcare portfolio, is intended to support the company's continued growth through organic expansion, new clinic openings, and selective acquisitions, with a stated goal of reaching over 600 clinics by 2030. The group is majority-owned by Advent International, a global private equity firm founded in 1984, which has a significant history of investing in the healthcare sector.
