Digital Guangdong

Digital Guangdong Network Construction Co., Ltd., established in October 2017, is the construction and operation center for the Guangdong digital government and a subsidiary of the state-owned China Electronics Corporation. The company was formed as a joint venture involving Tencent, China Unicom, China Telecom, and China Mobile to spearhead the province's "digital government" reform, which began in late 2017. The company's core products are a series of applications designed for different user groups: 'Yue Sheng Shi' for citizen services, 'Yue Shang Tong' for businesses, and 'Yue Zheng Yi' for government employees. The 'Yue Sheng Shi' app, a WeChat mini-program, was the first major product launched in May 2018, offering over 142 public services online, such as driver's license applications, social security, and housing fund services. The 'Yue Shang Tong' platform serves enterprises, while 'Yue Zheng Yi' is a mobile office platform for public officials.

Digital Guangdong's business model is centered on providing comprehensive technology services and solutions for digital government, digital city initiatives, and other digitalization projects. It supports the modernization of government governance and seeks to improve the business environment and public services. The company's efforts have contributed to Guangdong province consistently ranking first in China's provincial-level integrated government service capability assessments.
