Dibz

Established in 2015 by co-founders Rishabh Kaila, Sonal Pande, Udit Verma, and Raunak Pandey, Dibz was a mobile application designed to connect diners with location-based deals at restaurants. The company operated from its base in Gurugram, India, targeting the food and beverage sector. Its primary offering was a platform that provided users with coupons and discounts for food and drinks, enabling them to explore various dining establishments. The business model focused on curating deals for high-end restaurants that typically do not offer discounts by analyzing each partner's business dynamics to create a mutually beneficial arrangement. Dibz also facilitated deals on A' la Carte menus, a distinctive feature in the e-commerce space at the time.

The venture secured a total of $250,000 in funding over three seed rounds. The initial funding round occurred on November 24, 2016, with subsequent rounds on September 5, 2017, and a final, larger round of $131,000 on July 5, 2018. Key investors included institutional firms like Stellaris Venture Partners, Benori Ventures, and SRV Controls, alongside 12 angel investors. As of its last funding round in July 2018, the company had a valuation of ₹10 crore, with the founders retaining the largest shareholding at 67.70%.

Despite its early traction and investor backing, Dibz is now a deadpooled company and is no longer active.
