In 1983, with a vision for engineering excellence, K.L. Bansal founded what would become DEE Piping Systems, officially incorporating as DEE Development Engineers Limited in 1988. The company started by focusing on a critical industrial need: high-quality, specialized process piping solutions. This wasn't just about making pipes; it was about engineering complex systems for essential sectors like power generation, oil and gas, and chemicals. The business provides comprehensive piping solutions, from design and engineering to manufacturing and fabrication. They produce specialized products like high-pressure piping systems, pipe spools, and induction pipe bends, which are crucial components for large-scale industrial projects, including nuclear power and petrochemical plants. Over the decades, the company expanded its manufacturing footprint with facilities in Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and even internationally in Thailand, allowing it to scale its operations significantly. A major turning point for the company came in June 2024, when DEE Piping Systems launched its Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the BSE and NSE. The offering, valued at approximately ₹418 crore, included a fresh issue of shares to raise capital and an offer for sale by existing shareholders. The funds from the IPO were earmarked for working capital, debt repayment, and general corporate purposes, positioning the company for its next phase of growth.
