Creator Now is an online learning platform offering a cohort-based accelerator program for aspiring YouTubers and content creators. The company was founded in 2021 by YouTuber Eric Decker (known as Airrack), Zack Honarvar, and Kate Ward. In January 2024, Creator Now was acquired by the YouTube analytics company vidIQ, though it continues to operate as a standalone brand with its original founders remaining in their roles.
The core of Creator Now's business model is a paid, six-week program designed to foster content creation habits and community engagement. Participants are placed into small teams and challenged to publish a set number of videos, receiving feedback and support from their peers and mentors. The curriculum focuses on practical, action-based learning, including workshops on storytelling, video editing, and understanding YouTube analytics, often led by established creators like Ryan Trahan and Zach King. The program, which costs around $250, is structured to encourage consistency and collaboration among its members, who communicate through dedicated chats and community platforms. Revenue is generated through these program fees.
Co-founder Eric "Airrack" Decker dropped out of college and ran a six-figure wedding videography business before it was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This experience, coupled with his subsequent rapid success on YouTube—gaining over a million subscribers in under a year—formed the foundation for Creator Now's educational approach. He teamed up with his managers from One Day Entertainment, Zack Honarvar and Kate Ward, to build a program that would teach others the lessons they learned. In January 2022, Creator Now secured $3 million in a seed funding round with participation from investors like Upfront Ventures, Casey Neistat, and Justin Kan.
