Naturix operates as a multifaceted enterprise focused on sustainable aquaculture and recreational fishing tourism. The company manages a fish farm dedicated to producing and commercializing high-quality, natural aquaculture products. A core part of its business is a 6,000-square-meter fishing lake in Valderrebollo, Guadalajara, which is available for recreational fishing activities for individuals, families, and groups. This facility caters to all levels of fishing experience, from novices to experts, and provides necessary equipment and qualified staff for guidance. The lake is stocked daily with trout from the company's own ecological fish farm, which received the "Alimentos de España 2011" award for organic production. In addition to on-site fishing, Naturix offers guided tours of the fish farm and fishing lessons.

The business was established through the creation of TRUCHAS DE LA ALCARRIA S.L. in 2006, a pioneering company in ecological rainbow trout production in Spain. In 2008, NATURIX ACUICULTURE S.L. was formed to handle the processing, packaging, and commercialization of these organic aquaculture products. The fish farm itself was originally built in 1973 from a former flour mill. Francisco Javier (Curro) Villarreal Acevedo founded the Castilla-La Mancha-based company and has managed it since 2006. His background includes creating multiple aquaculture-related companies under the Naturix name across Spain. The company's business model combines revenue from direct-to-consumer recreational fishing experiences, including ticket sales and equipment rentals, with the sale of its processed fish products like whole trout, fillets, smoked trout, and trout burgers.
