Cloudpense, legally known as Shanghai Yunjian Software Technology Co.,d., is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider specializing in composable business and financial integration. Founded in April 2015 by Yu Yang, the company is headquartered in Shanghai, China. Yu Yang, a graduate of Shanghai Jiao Tong University's computer program, has nearly two decades of experience in corporate IT implementation and consulting from his time at companies like SAP and Shanghai General Motors. His background in IT and digitalization led to the creation of Cloudpense.

The company has secured multiple rounds of funding, including a Pre-A round in 2016, a strategic investment from Recruit Holdings in 2017, an A-round led by JD Digits in 2018, a B-round in 2019, and a B+ round in 2020, with investors like FG Venture and Zizhu Xiaomiao PE.
