The Chippewa Valley Angel Investors Network, LLC was organized in 2003 to meet a need identified in the region by providing private equity financing potential for early stage and start-up entrepreneurial ventures in the greater Chippewa Valley. Supported by Momentum West, the network is owned and operated by its member angel investors. It meets monthly to view presentations from businesses that have been pre-screened and invited to present. By the end of 2009 the CVAIN membership has invested over $3 million in seven early stage companies in the Chippewa Valley and surrounding region, including the Twin Cities and Madison.
