Chariot Claims is a legal-tech startup that operates a platform designed to simplify the process for consumers to participate in mass-action and class-action lawsuits against corporations. Founded in 2023 by CEO Zim Hang and CTO Chris Best, the company was formerly known as ClaimClam. In July 2025, the company, rebranded as Chariot Claims, announced a $3.6 million seed funding round led by Indicator Ventures, with participation from other firms including Lightbank, Neon Ventures, and Alumni Ventures.

The company's mission is to address the low participation rate of consumers in settlements for issues like negligence, false advertising, and privacy violations, where billions are paid by corporations but only a small fraction reaches the affected individuals. Chariot's platform automates the entire claims process, from identifying eligible cases and handling paperwork to connecting users with law firms and tracking payouts. For consumers, the service is designed to be user-friendly, requiring them to answer a few questions and connect relevant accounts to check for eligibility instantly. For its partner law firms, Chariot provides a large volume of qualified plaintiffs and manages administrative tasks, allowing firms to handle high-impact cases more efficiently.

The business model is contingency-based, meaning the company only gets paid when its users receive a settlement. Chariot has already processed over 65,000 claims and works with more than 20 law firms. With its recent funding, the company plans to expand into new claim categories such as wage theft, housing fraud, and data breaches.
