BRC Group of Companies

In 1974, a new venture, BRC Industrial (Saudia) Ltd., was established in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, planting the seeds for what would become a cornerstone of the Kingdom's industrial and construction sectors. The company began its journey manufacturing and trading metallurgical products. A year later, in 1975, production officially commenced, focusing initially on wire mesh. By the early 1980s, BRC was already in expansion mode. The company started to diversify its product line, adding security fence products like chain link fabric rolls in 1981. This was followed by a major capacity increase in 1982. This strategy of steady diversification continued, and by 1988, BRC had a full range of security fencing systems, winning contracts with major clients like Saudi Aramco and various government ministries. The company didn't rest on its laurels. Throughout the 90s and 2000s, it continued to add capabilities, including a PVC wire coating facility and achieving ISO 9001 certification, a key quality benchmark. This relentless focus on growth and quality solidified its position as a leading manufacturer of steel reinforcement and fencing solutions in the region. In a significant organizational shift, BRC became a Mixed Closed Joint Stock Company from 2017 onwards, structuring it for future growth.
