BioSET

The story begins with Dr. Ellen Cutler, a chiropractor who, after suffering from her own health issues, delved into the world of enzyme therapy. This personal journey led her to a key insight: many chronic health problems could stem from food sensitivities and digestive imbalances. Based on this premise, Dr. Cutler developed a system called BioSET, which stands for Bioenergetic Sensitivity and Enzyme Therapy. It's a holistic approach that combines organ-specific detoxification, enzyme therapy, and a method for desensitization, blending principles from Chinese medicine, kinesiology, and nutrition. The BioSET system is used by practitioners to identify substances causing energetic imbalances in a patient's body and then seeks to correct them. This is done through a combination of non-invasive energetic testing and stimulating acupressure points to clear blockages. The goal is to restore the body's balance, enabling it to heal and overcome sensitivities to various foods and environmental factors. Dr. Cutler has since evolved her work into what is now called the Ellen Cutler Method (ECM), which streamlines and builds upon the original BioSET principles. She has authored several books and now focuses on training other healthcare practitioners in her methods, expanding the reach of her initial concept. While BioSET itself as a distinct corporate entity appears to have been acquired in 2015, its legacy continues through the practitioners Dr. Cutler has trained and her ongoing work with the ECM.
