Biomimica is on a mission to revolutionize traditional industries through the development of environmentally friendly artificial spider silk: a super-material that's poised to disrupt multiple industries while accelerating our journey to environmental sustainability.  Engineered for exceptional strength and/or elasticity while also being lightweight, our silk is the ideal substitute for less sustainable materials in textiles, automotive, aerospace, and even the biomedical sectors.  To realize this, we've created a proprietary spinning platform that mimics the silk production processes found in spiders.
