BELLDESIGN Inc. is a startup that spun out of its parent company, Bellnix, a specialized power supply manufacturer with a 40-year history. Established on January 18, 2019, the company was founded as a second venture by Kenichiro Suzuki, who also serves as the President and CEO of Bellnix. Suzuki, a graduate of Nihon University's College of Industrial Technology, joined Bellnix in 1999 and became its president in 2016 before launching BELLDESIGN.
The firm focuses on redefining power supply infrastructure through wireless power and battery storage technologies. Leveraging Bellnix's core expertise in high-frequency switching, low-noise, and miniaturization technologies, BELLDESIGN develops products and service solutions. Its flagship product is "POWER SPOT®," an IoT-enabled 50W wireless power supply platform based on electromagnetic induction technology. This system is designed to create a more comfortable environment by eliminating the need for physical power outlets and cables, allowing for charging and powering of devices like lighting and kitchen appliances wirelessly. The company provides its wireless power modules as an OEM service for integration into various products such as furniture, home appliances, and lighting fixtures.
In addition to wireless power, BELLDESIGN is developing "Eneterm," a home energy storage system. This system stores electricity generated by solar power during the day for use during peak evening hours. The company targets both B2B and B2C markets, with its technology being adopted in co-working spaces, showrooms, and private residences. Shareholders include Bellnix, MTDO Inc., and HEART CATCH, among other individual investors.
