The game is designed to provide an authentic car culture experience, allowing players to build, customize, and race cars. It features licensed vehicles from renowned manufacturers like McLaren, Pagani, and Subaru, and parts from brands such as Nitto Tires. Customization is a core element, with options for genuine performance parts, realistic tuning, and cosmetic personalizations. The gameplay is centered around high-stakes, live drag racing, where players can compete for in-game currency, rare parts, or even wager their cars in "pink slip" races. The game is set in a virtual Southern California, aiming to replicate real-world street racing culture.

Auto Legends integrates blockchain technology to offer players true ownership of their in-game digital assets, which can be traded within a player-driven economy. The business model is free-to-play and incorporates web3 functionalities, with plans for an inaugural NFT mint to offer exclusive digital collectibles. The game is being developed for PC, Mac, iOS, and Android platforms and entered a closed beta phase in 2023.
