Atrium Ljungberg

The story of Atrium Ljungberg begins in 1946 with builder Tage Ljungberg, who founded a construction and real estate business. This company, LjungbergGruppen, grew steadily and eventually went public with a listing on the NASDAQ OMX Stockholm in 1994. A pivotal moment in the company's journey occurred in 2007. LjungbergGruppen merged with Atrium Fastigheter, a real estate company owned by the consumer association KF. This merger created one of Sweden's largest property companies, Atrium Ljungberg, combining two significant portfolios. Today, Atrium Ljungberg is a major urban developer in Sweden's largest cities. The company focuses on creating vibrant city districts by mixing offices, housing, and retail with services and culture. A significant portion of their portfolio consists of office spaces in the Stockholm area. The company has been chosen for major development projects, such as Stockholm's Slakthusområdet (the Meatpacking District), and is building the world's largest wooden urban area, Stockholm Wood City.
