The major turning point in the AsiaPac story came in 2018. The company was acquired by M1, one of Singapore's leading telecommunications providers. The deal, valued at up to S$20 million, was a strategic move for M1 to accelerate its entry into the corporate ICT segment. For M1, buying AsiaPac was not just about acquiring a company; it was about instantly gaining an established customer base and deep expertise in enterprise solutions. Following the acquisition, AsiaPac became an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of M1, continuing its operations with the backing of a major telco. This event marked a new chapter for the company, integrating its specialized IT services with M1's broader communications offerings to create a more comprehensive enterprise solutions provider.
