Anadolu Isuzu

Anadolu Isuzu Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. is a joint-stock company established through a partnership between the Anadolu Group, Isuzu Motors Limited, and Itochu. The company's origins trace back to 1965 with the establishment of Çelik Montaj, which initially produced trucks and motorcycles. A significant milestone was reached in 1983 when a license agreement was signed with Isuzu Motors Ltd., leading to the production of Isuzu vehicles starting in 1984 at the Kartal factory. Previously, the company had been manufacturing Skoda trucks until 1986.

In August 1999, Anadolu Isuzu relocated its operations to a new, technologically advanced factory in Şekerpınar. The company's shares were publicly offered on the Istanbul Stock Exchange in 1997. The current ownership structure is divided among the Anadolu Group (55.40%), Isuzu (16.99%), Itochu (12.74%), with the remaining shares being publicly traded (16.32%) and held by other investors (14.87%).
