In 1970, the All-Fab Group was founded in Winnipeg, Canada, establishing itself as a manufacturer of structural wood building components. The company focused on supplying the essential frameworks for construction, producing engineered roof and floor trusses, wall systems, and beams for residential, agricultural, and commercial projects across Western Canada and eventually into the United States. For over five decades, All-Fab grew to become one of the largest building solutions providers in the region, operating through a network of manufacturing and design centers. The company built a reputation for its technical design expertise and reliable delivery of essential construction components. The business eventually came under the principal ownership of Canadian private equity firms PFM Capital Inc. and Roynat Equity Partners. A significant event in the company's journey occurred in December 2024, when private equity firm Sycamore Partners, together with the Canadian home improvement retailer RONA Inc., announced they were acquiring the All-Fab Group. This acquisition signaled a new chapter for the longstanding component manufacturer, providing it with additional resources to accelerate growth and expand its product offerings to builders and developers across North America.
