Airfree's purifiers are distinguished by their patented Thermodynamic Sterilization System (TSS) technology. This process uses a heated ceramic core to reach temperatures of approximately 400°F (200°C), destroying airborne microorganisms like mold, bacteria, viruses, and allergens through incineration, much like sterilizing water by boiling it. The air is drawn in via natural convection, processed silently without fans, cooled, and then released back into the room. This method is completely silent and does not produce ozone, ions, or other harmful byproducts. The key benefits for the consumer are the silent operation, the elimination of up to 99.99% of microorganisms without the hassle and cost of filter replacements, and low energy consumption. While effective against organic pollutants, the technology is not designed to remove non-living particulate matter or handle gases and odors as effectively as filter-based systems.
