Founded in 1997, Adminisource Communication provided customized payment and communication distribution services for the healthcare industry. The company specialized in both electronic and print distribution of critical financial and informational documents, connecting payers, providers, and patients across the United States.

Adminisource's core services included the distribution of Explanation of Benefits (EOB), Explanation of Payment (EOP), Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), and Electronic Remittance Advice (835) communications. Its business model centered on delivering these documents on behalf of healthcare payers, health plans, and third-party administrators. The company also managed check and ACH transactions, as well as electronic virtual card payment solutions. Other services included the provision of ID cards, billing statements, and general correspondence fulfillment. Its primary web portal, ProviderNet, allowed healthcare providers to manage payments, view remittances, and handle electronic funds enrollment.

In December 2014, Alegeus Technologies sold its subsidiary AdminiSource Communications, Inc. to an affiliate of Emdeon Inc. for $35 million in cash. Subsequently, Emdeon rebranded as Change Healthcare in December 2015. Later, on December 31, 2019, Adminisource Communication was fully acquired by Change Healthcare.
