HwikGo

HwikGo is a South Korean company founded in 2019 by co-CEOs Lee Kang-hwi and Hong Si-hyun, specializing in Mobility as a Service (MaaS) and Logistics as a Service (LaaS). The firm aims to solve urban transportation and logistics challenges by developing an integrated Transportation as a Service (TaaS) platform.

The company's MaaS division provides seamless urban travel by combining public transportation with various smart mobility options. A key product is 'TAGRIDE', a platform developed with Loca Mobility that allows users to pay for shared smart mobility services, such as e-scooters, using a standard transit card. HwikGo also operates Seoul's 'International TAXI' service for foreign tourists, featuring a dedicated mobile app with AI-based automatic dispatch. To support these services, HwikGo has developed its own Fleet Management System (FMS), durable IoT modules for shared vehicles, smart helmet lockers with UV sterilization, and charging stations to address parking issues.

In the logistics sector, its LaaS division, Hwik Bit, leverages public transport networks to enhance urban delivery services. This includes 'TAGLO', a system of IoT-enabled smart lockers for peer-to-peer transactions, and a service for gig-economy delivery workers with identity verification. The business model includes providing its MaaS platform as a subscription solution for shared mobility operators. In March 2023, the company secured a strategic investment from Wemade.
