Eight Arch Brewing Co is an independent craft brewery that brought brewing back to the Dorset town of Wimborne, UK, after an 80-year absence. The company was founded in 2015 by Steve Farrell, a former lorry mechanic and passionate homebrewer who was inspired by the burgeoning craft beer scene. His fascination with Wimborne's local brewing history fueled his desire to re-establish the tradition. The brewery's name is derived from the eight arches of the nearby Julian's Bridge.

Farrell's journey into professional brewing began with home brewing kits around 2011 before he gained hands-on experience at established breweries like The Kernel, Five Points, and Gyle 59. He launched Eight Arch after completing courses at Brewlab in Sunderland, starting with a pale ale named Prototype 1. The business model centers on producing a core range of beers, including hop-forward pales, IPAs, and dark stouts, while also engaging in collaborations and seasonal offerings. The brewery prides itself on using high-quality malts, fresh hops, and minimal processing to create its products.

Eight Arch operates a taproom at the brewery, which is open on Fridays and Saturdays, serving its beers directly to consumers alongside street food, creating a strong community hub. The brewery has received multiple accolades from the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA), including National Overall Small Pack Champion in 2020 for its Square Logic pale ale and a national gold award for its Corbel beer.
